This is my more adventurous little Amazon Milk Frog. The guy that got them from the zoo for me thinks she's a girl because she was bigger than some of the others. Time will tell. She still has a lot of growing to do. I'll have to change her name if she turns out to be male, but, until then, her name is Rosalina, named after Rosalina Temple in Copán. A big nerdy gold star to anyone who knows why that name is totally inappropriate for a frog of this species. :D

you made me curious about the name... so i googled it. But all i could figure was that rosalina was built over by something and there was some toad place where women gave birth. Please explain... now it bothers me that i couldnt figure it out.

The Maya civilization was in Central America, not the Amazon. :D The Mayan's temples at Copán are pretty fascinating. The end result is kinda like an onion... but with temples. They built a new layer on top of the old, so Rosalina Temple still stands, but it's inside of another temple now, which has preserved it pretty well.

Thank you. :) I'm sure the judgment came out in my favor. I had just fed them. ;)

Wow! What an amazing colour! You've taken the shot so clearly too, I can see all the little details. Amazing n.n

How big is she? And what size will she grow to?

Thanks. :) I love this little bugger.

Ha, yah, sure... Not sure it's worth the time I spent. I've only sold one... to myself. XD DA forces the cost to be so high, but they're not really any worse than any other printer I've found so far.
